Serve Victoria 2018 - Day 1
Today was awesome!
I think everyone was nervous at first and no one was completely sure at what to expect. All ten teens arrived at our church (Willoughby Church) and we then left in two rented minivans. We had some time in our hands so we stopped for 20 minutes at Tsawassen Mills and lets just say a few of us may have bought some candy! When we finally boarded the ferry all of us got ice cream and probably defied the laws of physics with the amount of ice cream that we towered in a small bowl.
As we were leaving the ferry Curtis nearly missed the departure because he was talking to someone! We drove from the ferry terminal to “Niagara falls” (Goldstream Park) and while we were driving my van played I’m going on a picknic. I chose to play this game and unfortunately it was a huge mistake. I was caught on the easiest pattern ever and for some reason my brain was stuck buffering. It was a double letter word all I had to say was a double lettered word but I couldn’t get it!!!!!!!!! Once we arrived at the falls I practically went straight to the falls and jumped right in. After we left from their we went to the church, it was called Victoria Christian Reformed Church. We had supper and played a few icebreaker games one of them including an xxxl t-shirt that had to go on everyone! At the end of all of this we listened to a sermon and sang some songs. Then came dinner and about 2 hours of apples to apples while I typed this and laughed.
