Offering for weeks 1 & 2 of November:

One of the Special Offering for this month is World Renew - World Hunger, 2.4 billion people around the world aren't sure whether they'll be able to feed their families today. But we can be part of God's great work of justice and mercy. Your gifts support families around the world who are planting hope and ending hunger!

World Renew's World Hunger campaign is all about possibilities: the crops that conservation agriculture can yield, the funds that savings groups can help provide for an emergency, and the fruit that innovative techniques like aquaponics can grow.

With your gift, you not only provide families with nourishment—but also with the opportunity to educate their children, start new businesses, and save for the future. With enough food, families can thrive.

For more information about World Renew, contact our church’s World Renew ambassador, Liz Tolkamp at liztolkamp@gmail.com.

North of 60: Old school roots with a modern twist! We are collecting new or used men's clothing, and toiletries for the Seafarers Ministry during the month of November. If you would like to join us in this hands-on service project, there's a list of needed items in your mailbox. We are looking for people willing to sew bags for the toiletries - we have instruction and fabric for you. There will be a sign up sheet in the foyer after church!

Men of Praise | An Evening of Hymns and Praise Songs: Men and boys of every age are invited to join us on Sunday, Nov 1, 2026 at 7:00 PM for a special evening of worship at Langley Immanuel Christian Reformed Church. Come together for an evening of joyful praise as we sing a wonderful variety of hymns and praise songs celebrating God’s goodness, faithfulness, mercy, and greatness. Fathers and sons, grandfathers and grandsons, brothers and friends are all encouraged to gather for this meaningful time of worship and fellowship. We warmly welcome men and boys from neighbouring churches and the broader community to join us for the evening.

“In every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands.”
1 Timothy 2:8

Come and join us as we lift our voices together for the glory of God's name.

New Members - Lunch & Orientation: We’re hosting a New Members Lunch and orientation after the service on November 8.  We’d love to invite you all to come if you’re able!  We’re going to be gathering together with those who are new to the community and answering any questions you might have about our church.

Whether you’re interested in being a member, curious to know more about the church, or simply interested in a free lunch, we’d love to have you there!

Please fill out the form using this link or let Pastor Jenna know if you would like to attend so that we can order the appropriate amount of food.

Teach-it Tuesdays are back!  Join us on November 10 as we welcome back Ashely Peter to speak to us about being a Christian in the midst of other religious groups.
As we've all noticed, our community is changing -- be it the beliefs, the food, the religious affiliations, the practices, or the people.  We are living in a multicultural mix of immigrants.  And so as followers of Jesus, what do we know of the neighbours living in our community, and how do we discern their worldviews, hopes, fears and dreams before witnessing the Gospel with love?
Come, explore, voice, and discover ways to share Jesus in our changing community.

Thrive Faith Formation Tip - The Examen is a helpful daily prayer tool that Christians have used for hundreds of years to review their day in a godly way. This is a great bedtime practice for people of all ages. Try this simplified Examen this week: First, pray that God will give you insight. Then ask yourself two questions: “What was I most grateful for today?” and “What was I least grateful for today?” Close in prayer, thanking God for the blessings of the day, and asking God’s help with your shortcomings. Join Groundwork as we study Philippians 4:4-7, 1 Chronicles 29:10-20, Exodus 15:1-2, 20-21, and Luke 1:46-55 to see why including gratitude in our prayers matters and how it benefits our relationship with God and enriches our prayer life.
