Wycliffe Bible Translatorsmission is to end Bible poverty by facilitating the translation of God’s Word among minority language communities worldwide. They are a member of the Wycliffe Global Alliance, and part of a global movement that’s advancing Bible translation, literacy, capacity-building, and activities that encourage meaningful engagement with translated Scriptures.
Wycliffe partners with local churches, translators and global alliances to ensure that each project is locally led, culturally relevant and sustainable. Their goal is not only to translate Scripture, but to help communities read it, use it and live it—long after the project is complete.
From July 5-18, a team of dedicated riders will take on a big challenge—cycle hundreds of kilometres from White Rock, B.C. to Calgary, Alberta to raise awareness, financial and prayer support for this vital mission. All to share God’s Word in some of the most difficult contexts around the world.
* For the two Special Offerings this month, Wycliffe will run for the first two weeks, with SA Foundation for weeks 3&4. You are invited to give to either or both offerings as they will both be available on tithley for the whole month of July! *

Refugee Sponsorship Update:We have received wonderful news that the Al Haj Murie family is expected to arrive on July 21st. We are seeking long term housing for this family of 6 but realize that August 1st would likely be the earliest move in date. If anyone has available housing for this family for about 10 days (July 21-31) or longer, please let Peter Roukema or Evelyn Bouwman know. Even better, if there was space for 8 people, Adel and Muna (whom we sponsored 4 years ago and who are related to this family) could also be included as they are also looking for a new place to live. Thank you!

Thrive Faith Formation Tip - Is it hot outside today? Here in the Northern Hemisphere it is summer, and the temperatures have climbed. Do you like that? Or would you rather it be cooler? Sadly, you can’t order your favorite temperature today! Just as in many other parts of life, the temperature outside is not yours to control. Remembering that is helpful for recognizing that you are small and that God (who can control the temperature) is big. Are there other things in your life that you can’t change? Name one of those things each day this week, and praise God for his big-ness. Brought to you by Thrive: crcna.org/Thrive
