NEWCOMERS PICNIC

On Sunday, June 9 a large group of people gathered at Derby Reach picnic grounds to celebrate newcomers to Canada. Pictured are The Lin family, the Almasri family, Gley and Lily, the Alomar family, the Ahmo family, Fadumo and her children, Basma (who helped organize the event), George and Maria and other Willoughby church friends. We spent time visiting, playing games and enjoying various ethnic food.  It was a time of thanksgiving for the friendships we share.
