Offering for weeks 1 & 2 of July:
One of our special offerings this month supports our Denominational Shares: ReFrame Ministries (formerly Back to God hour). Their vision is that the lives and worldviews of all people around the globe will be transformed by God's gospel message. Relying on the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Reframe creates contextual media resources, such as the Today & Kid's Corner, that proclaim the gospel, disciple believers, and strengthens the church throughout the world in 10 major languages. This work takes place through their four core strategies: church rooted, major languages, context driven and relationship- focused. To learn about what our denominational ministry is doing, please visit ReFrame's website.
* For the two Special Offerings this month, ReFrame Ministries will run for the first two weeks, with Redeemer University for weeks 3&4. You are invited to give to either or both offerings as they will both be available on tithley for the whole month of July! *

Modern societies generally agree that schooling is a good idea, but continue to fight passionately over exactly what it is that schools should be achieving. John Amos Comenius, an important 17th century theologian, pastor, and educator, spent a lifetime reflecting on how his Christian identity related to his efforts to reform schools and promote universal education. In this lecture we will explore a few of his ideas about what learning is for, focusing on how they might continue to call us to sober reflection today.

Thrive Faith Formation Tip - In the church year we are in “Ordinary Time,” a season named not because it is less significant than other church seasons but because it’s a time to focus on faithfulness in our ordinary, day-to-day lives. This week, ponder how you can “take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering” (Romans 12:1-2, MSG). Choose one daily activity that you can write a simple prayer about, and say that prayer each day. Small practices like this can make us mindful of God's presence in the ordinary.
