Willoughby Cadets hosted another successful Kub Kar rally on Saturday, April 7.   By 10 am, the fellowship Hall was transformed from a docile and orderly room into utter competitive mayhem and organized chaos!  129 boys representing nine Cadet clubs from throughout the lower mainland participated in this biennial event.

Following a short break for devotions and hamburgers, we went back for the finals. The boys had a great time in the race events as well as the car design category. Many went home with trophies. Winners were decided, in some cases, by as little as 1/1000th of a second, verified by a digital timer and slow-motion high-definition replays displayed on a big screen.

A great time was had by all, and although there was fierce competition throughout the day, good sportsmanship prevailed and everyone left happy and thoroughly entertained!
