Special Offering for Weeks 1& 2 of October:

The local Langley Foodbank is the focus of our giving for the first few weeks of October. The Langley Food Bank is a not-for-profit organization and is funded entirely through the support of local churches, organizations, and individuals. With the rise of inflation rates and increased cost of food, the food bank is being utilized more and more by families in need.

You have a few options for giving: Food/grocery items; grocery bags with a list of food items to purchase for the Langley Food Bank are available in the church lobby. Return the filled grocery bags to any one of our Sunday or Thanksgiving services. You can also drop them by the church office at your convenience. As well you are invited to donate through the offering box on Sunday mornings or by clicking here to give through Tithley (Langley Food Bank).

Please give generously to this great cause!

Thanksgiving Service: Join us on Thanksgiving Monday, October 12th at 10am for a service of gratitude!  There will be singing, a homily, and an opportunity to give to the Langley Food Bank. Stay for coffee and pumpkin pie in the hall after the service. Hope to see you all there!!!

New Members - Lunch & Orientation: We’re hosting a New Members Lunch and orientation after the service on November 8.  We’d love to invite you all to come if you’re able!  We’re going to be gathering together with those who are new to the community and answering any questions you might have about our church.

Whether you’re interested in being a member, curious to know more about the church, or simply interested in a free lunch, we’d love to have you there!

Please fill out the form using this link or let Pastor Jenna know if you would like to attend so that we can order the appropriate amount of food.

Teach-it Tuesdays are back!  Join us on November 10 as we welcome back Ashely Peter to speak to us about being a Christian in the midst of other religious groups.
As we've all noticed, our community is changing -- be it the beliefs, the food, the religious affiliations, the practices, or the people.  We are living in a multicultural mix of immigrants.  And so as followers of Jesus, what do we know of the neighbours living in our community, and how do we discern their worldviews, hopes, fears and dreams before witnessing the Gospel with love?
Come, explore, voice, and discover ways to share Jesus in our changing community.

Christmas Decorators: Hey Everyone, We are looking for 5-7 people to help with decorating the church for the advent season (the more the merrier)!!! If you love Christmas and want to help the staff out this advent season, we'd love to have you help decorate the sanctuary and foyer anytime the week of November 23rd. Please email, or talk to Tamara (tamara@willoughbychurch.com) or Jenna (jenna@willoughbychurch.com) if you are interested so we can co-ordinate a day and time for the whole group!!! Thanks, The Staff at Willoughby

Last Sunday for the Garden Table!!! Garden Sharing Table: As the growing season winds down, so does our Garden Sharing Table. Thank you to everyone for sharing the bounty of your garden this past growing season. Your generosity turned simple harvests into a beautiful expression of community and care. From first fruits to overflowing baskets, every contribution made a difference.
We’re grateful for another wonderful season of sharing and look forward to doing it again next year!
