Women's Bible Study: Calling women of all ages, we are planning a Bible study in an entirely new format.  Using only our Bibles, we are planning to read through sections of scripture with focus and intention and then share our thoughts, questions, or encouragements with each other. There will be two options for you to join, Wednesday evening starting October 19th at 7:00pm hosted by Jenn Prins & Friday morning starting October 21 at 10:30am hosted by Pat Storteboom. If you are interested, there will be a sign up sheet in the lobby this Sunday or you can email Tamara, tamara@willoughbychurch.com to sign up.  

Faith & Family Night: BC Lions are hosting their annual Faith & Family Night, on Saturday October 15th. Come out and enjoy coaches and players discussing faith, family, and football post game. Engaging Spiritual Conversations (Online):  Our world at times seems rather unsettled. Many feel isolated, lonely, and fearful. Do you long to offer a word of hope to family, friends, and neighbors? Do you look for ways to share your faith, but hesitate for fear of saying the wrong thing? Are you interested in having a spiritual conversation but don't know where to begin?   Join with others in this four-session Evangelism Workshop.  Small Group Leadership Workshop:  Leading Bible Discovery training features the "Discovery Method" used by Global Coffee Break groups around the world for discipleship and evangelism.  It will help you lead and facilitate a Bible discovery group allowing people to discover for themselves what the Bible says and means.  The workshop is very interactive and will focus on Bible Discovery, adult learning principles as well as outreach and prayer.   This workshop is being offered at Fleetwood CRC, Surrey BC, Monday, October 17, 7:00pm-9:00pm (Pacific Time) or Online workshop, Wednesday, Oct. 19, 7:00pm - 9:00pm (Pacific Time) to register for either of these workshops, click the link: https://globalcoffeebreak.org/events

InterMission Silent Retreat - The Studion School for Spiritual Direction is hosting an InterMission Silent Retreat October 28-30, at Star of the North Retreat Centre in St. Albert, Alberta. Come get away to be fully present to the presence of God and feed your soul. 5 meals, 2 nights, up to 3 sessions of spiritual direction, and access to all the amenities of the Centre. Star of the North is located near the many trails that run through St. Albert, including the trails along the Sturgeon River. You can walk for hours. It is a lovely setting and a cozy retreat house.
