Seniors: Come and join us this Thursday, September 8th at 10 am as we enjoy a day at Williams Park(6595 238th St. Langley).  We will meet at the Picnic Shelter, bring your own lawn chair and mug, as lunch will be provided. All are welcome!

Women's Bible Study:  A new session of Women's Bible Study will be doing the book Life Lessons from the Book of Mark by Max Lucado. The will be meeting every other Tuesday at 10 am starting September 13. You are welcome to join us!

Coffee Break and Story Hour: For women (of all ages) and preschool children will begin a new season with a registration morning on September 20th at 9:30 at Langley Immanuel Church (21713-50th Avenue) There will be more details forthcoming in the next few weeks. 

GEMS: The GEMS club is looking for 2 more volunteers to help run small groups so they can continue the program this September. GEMS is a program for girls grades 3-7 that encourages faith formation. They meet every other Wednesday evening. If you are interested in volunteering or just have any questions about the program please email Brooklyn at willoughbygems@gmail.com.

Garden Sharing Table: Many of us have gardens that produce more than we can eat ourselves!  If you have extras, you are invited to take it to the sharing table in the front hall at church on Sundays, we will continue the table throughout the rest of the summer!!  This will be the last Sunday to share your produce with the Congregation!!!

Re:Activate Prayer Room Volunteers Re:Activate is happening again the weekend of September 9-11, 2022 at Willoughby CRC in Langley, BC. This year, we want to be intentional about filling the prayer room with pray-ers with a heart for our kids to encounter the presence of our loving God. If you are available for part or all of that weekend and would like to volunteer for a shift in the prayer room, please contact Pastor Erik pastorerik@cornerstonecrc.ca

GLORIA DEI CHORALE, a Christian Community Mixed Voice Choir, is excited to start singing again on September 12, 2022. Youth Justice Project – NewGround - “God creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join Him in the work He does, the good work He has gotten ready for us to do - work we had better be doing” (Eph. 2:7-10, MSG). For the past 30 years, the NewGround program of Diaconal Ministries Canada (formerly called Operation Manna) has helped over 100 churches in Canada love their community! We now have grants and support for teens and youth groups through our Youth Justice Project! They can receive up to $6000 for a project in their local community that addresses an injustice. Our aim is to empower the next generation of justice-seekers!
