Daycare Request: The daycare committee is looking for a volunteer to help do a search for a 25 passenger bus or a 15 person van for the daycare.   Though currently the vehicles for this church ministry are functional, the bus will be needing a replacement in the near future.  Please contact, Wendy Hoytema (gwhoytema@gmail.com) or Kim Breedveld (klbreedveld@gmail.com) if you are able to serve in this capacity and for more information.

Summer Camp: Fleetwood CRC in Surrey is hosting three summer camps this year for a variety of interests and ages. NoteWorthy Music Camp, for ages 7-12, focuses on introducing young kids to music and teaching basic musical skills (June 27-30). Compassion Camp, our VBS for ages 5-10, tells the gospel through games, crafts, and stories (July 18-22). World’s Stage Theatre Camp, for high schoolers aged 12-18, is a week of writing, directing, and acting with a healthy amount of improv thrown in (August 1-5). The residential child and youth worker provides support to children or youth who have moderate to severe behavioural challenges. You will be supporting one or more children or youth under 19 years of age in an attractive, home-like setting designed especially for day and overnight respite. The child or youth live at home with their families and come to the home every week. Attending respite gives them stimulation and growth opportunity and their families a break to recharge. The number of hours a child or youth attends respite varies with each family’s needs. You will be working with a team of people, including specialists from community resources, other residential child and youth workers, and an experienced, on-site manager.
