Offering for weeks 1 & 2 of September:
This year, our Province has been hard hit by wildfires resulting in thousands of displaced people and in heartbreaking loss of homes, businesses and neighbourhoods. Our special offering for the first two weeks of September is for Samaritan’s Purse, a non-denominational Christian Organization actively working in the areas hardest hit by wildfire like Clinton and Summerland.
Samaritan’s Purse provides services such as Evacuation Centres and Disaster Relief helping people with possession recovery and some cleanup. They also work alongside churches to help equip churches in areas recovering from disaster to walk alongside the people in the community.
