Surfing without Service is a crazy trip that we have done for the past two years where we day trip to the west coast of Vancouver Island and back and spend the day surfing! It is a wild ride and tons of fun.
Registration will open in the next few days. I am just sorting out vehicles and costs and the like before I fully open up registration.
A few things to note, consider if you would like to come along. This is a surfing day and that is about it. We do not do much else. No surfing experience is required, we stick together and have a lot of fun in the waves. The onlt requirement is that you must be a strong swimmer. Typically older youth attend this trip for that reason.
The leaders joining us will be me, Brooklyn (she is a certified lifeguard), and Tim to drive. There may be a few more youth leaders coming if needed. This is a trip that a higher ratio of youth to leaders is nice so there are more eyes watching what is going on.
I hope to send another email tomorrow with the registration. There will be limited spaces due to vehicle restrictions, so it will be on a first come first serve basis for registration.
This is an all day trip, from about 4/5 am to 11/12 at night.
