The special offering this month is for Willoughby Church’s Refugee Fund. The Refugee Fund provides Willoughby Church-sponsored refugees with their basic needs, such as housing, food, clothing, furniture, etc. upon arrival in Canada.
We are currently making preparations to welcome two families to Canada. How long this will take is unpredictable, however, as all the necessary paperwork and interviews are completed, there is the possibility they could arrive soon. Government regulations require that a significant amount of support funding is in place before the newcomers arrive, hence, we wish to be fully prepared for their arrival.
