The special offering for February will go to Cloverdale Community Kitchen.

Look at the attached document for a quick snapshot of their mission and the services they provide in case you are looking for more information about what they do.

You can give through their website: www.mycck.ca by clicking any of the green “give now” buttons. They also accept donations of non-perishable food for our food bank.

They have their biggest annual fundraiser coming up on February 20th: Coldest Night of the Year. This event is where people bundle up and brave the cold of a winter evening to walk a 5km route and get a small glimpse into what the homeless people in our community face. Typically they would have over 600 people come down to their church and walk the route and then enjoy a meal together but obviously that can’t happen this year. But, they still need to meet their $125,000 fundraising goal in order to continue to operate their programs. They are looking for people to start teams and commit to fundraising. They don’t know what provincial restrictions will be in place come February 20th, but are hoping people can still walk with their “bubbles” in their own communities.
