This past weekend, 17 Willoughbytes got together with four other Christian Reformed churches for the Second Annual Young Adult Ski Retreat at Manning Park. With high hopes for the weekend before Valentine’s Day, none of us found the love of our lives, despite Leader David Groen's advice to do so. But the weekend was full of bonding, bobcats, outdoor ice hockey, hot tub/pool time, catch phrase, mafia and oh, skiing. In addition, Pastor Mark led us through L.E.A.P.S.; the Lord's Prayer and the exploration of our "Popeye moment"; looking for where God is calling us to be the change as young adults in our struggling world.
