Offering for weeks 3 & 4 of February: This is the last Sunday to give to either of the Special Offerings!

ABBA Canada: ABBA Canada provides financial assistance and support to Canadian Christian families wanting to grow their family through domestic or international adoption. Although not every Christian will adopt, ABBA believes every Christian is called to play a part in caring for the orphan.  ABBA Canada was born as a response to seeing Christian families who desired to bring a child in need into their family, but not pursue adoption because of the overwhelming process and financial hurdles. Since 2011, ABBA Canada has provided $700,000 in adoption grants to over 171 deserving Canadian Christian families. 100% of all donations to ABBA Canada help fund a Canadian family’s adoption without deducting administration costs. Our dream is for every believer to be engaged with helping these vulnerable children.

Teach-It Tuesday: Building Blocks for Sharing the Gospel - Tuesday, March 10, 2026

Come join us on March 10 for another Teach-It Tuesday!  We will be welcoming Ashley Peter to encourage us and equip us with some building blocks for sharing the good news with others.
Ashley writes this:

Is there a news big enough to build our lives upon -- a story that reveals our true identity and gives our lives meaning and purpose?  The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the glorious and liberating news that is restoring our weary, battered planet, one life at a time.

Our individual stories make sense only when seen through the good news story -- the Gospel. It explains why we are here on earth, who we are, what we are called to do, how to live on this earth and what happens when our mortal time runs out.

What if you and I could sensitively invite people into this good news story to help them understand their identity, meaning, morality, and purpose through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus?

Come, explore the gospel and discover how you can invite others into it.

Come for dessert and social time at 6:30pm, and the conversation will begin at 7:00pm. Hope to see you there! Sign up for Teach-It Tuesday

We may host a separate Zoom discussion with Kathy Vandergrift and Matthijs Kronemeijer to unpack their articles referencing Bill C-9.  Email us for information! Monday, February 23 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm: Email for zoom link here

Thrive Faith Formation Tip - Today is the first Sunday of Lent. The forty days of Lent bring to mind the forty years of Israel’s sojourn in the wilderness and the forty days of fasting that preceded Jesus’ public ministry. During Lent, Christians around the world reflect on the weight of sin, the cost of salvation, and the love that motivated Jesus’ earthly sojourn and sacrificial death. This year during Lent, find an object that reminds you of the wilderness (like a small stone or a container of sand) and place it in plain sight. Whenever you see it, pause and remember the depth of Jesus’ love and how far he went to rescue you from sin and death. Brought to you by Thrive: crcna.org/Thrive

Groundwork: In the Garden of Gethsemane: Jesus Prays, Judas Betrays, and Jesus is Arrested. - As Lent begins, let’s prepare our hearts in this season by following Jesus to Golgotha and studying the biblical events that comprise the traditional stations of the cross. Join Groundwork as we begin our journey by studying Matthew 26:31-56 to reflect on what happened to Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane and consider the effects of his prayer, betrayal, and arrest for Jesus and for us. Listen now at GroundworkOnline.com and subscribe to Groundwork's weekly emails for future episodes.
