Angel Breakfast - Covenant Kids Christian Daycare - As you know this year, we did not have an in-person Angel Breakfast, instead, Angel Breakfast baskets were sent home to each family.  They were filled with a box of pancake mix, a bottle of syrup, oranges, a superstore gift card for them to purchase something to add to it …like BACON or SAUSAGES, a craft for the children to do and a Christmas card.  We also added a video of the children’s Christmas performance.

World Renew - Advent Means Hope - With World Renew’s 2021-2022 Gift Catalogue, you can help a family plant seeds to grow food after COVID-19 lockdowns, give a child the supplies they need for health with a nutrition kit, or provide safety for a disaster survivor. Choose a gift that gives someone who is struggling with hunger and income insecurity the opportunity for transformation today and hope for the future. Visit the Giving Tree in the church lobby to choose an ornament and look through the Gift Catalogue.

Groundwork: Christmas Hope: Mary and Christ's Birth - Discover a God and a Savior who does not move away from our sin and pain, but draws close and redefines righteousness. Join Groundwork as we study Matthew 1:15-25, Galatians 4:4-7, and Ephesians 3:17b-19 to study the true wonder of Christmas and find comfort in God’s grace and great love through Mary’s story. Listen now at GroundworkOnline.com and subscribe to Groundwork's weekly emails for future episodes.

Faith Practices Reflection Tip - Reflection and Discussion Starter—the Practice of Hospitality: Read Luke 10:38-42 and ponder or discuss the following questions. Do you identify more with Martha or with Mary? Why? What do you think Jesus meant by saying “Few things are needed—or indeed only one”? (For more on faith practices from Faith Formation Ministries, visit bit.ly/FaithPracticesProject)
