A Message from the Refugee Committee:  We received the following note from the Lin family on the 7th anniversary of their arrival in Canada, and we wanted to share it with all of you.

“Yes... it has been a long journey and... here we are.  Without your helps and from the church, we couldn't have made it.  By looking back, we are amazed by the incredible fate which brought us to you and your unconditional kindness.  Even though we are all far apart due to various circumstances, our gratitudes are always to you and the church.  Thank you for everything we have and we achieved. “

All of the families we have assisted to come to Canada intermittently express the same sentiments.  Due to COVID, we have not been able to welcome a new family in the past 2 years, but we have submitted applications to assist more families, without knowing when they will arrive.  We pray that they will remain safe wherever they are and that we can soon welcome them to Canada and to our community.

Eleanor, on behalf of the Refugee Committee
