I really enjoyed today. My group left for the Mustard Seed, where we got to organize clothes and recycling. I got the opportunity to serve the community there lunch. I met one women that was crying because she was so grateful to be served a meal. This really made we think that the service I had done had touched not just her, but everyone who had come to receive a meal. I enjoyed some delicious curry lentil soup, then we headed off to Sanctuary youth. We washed lots of cars, got sprayed a lot, and hung out in the youth lounge there. In all, we made $609 for Sanctuary, which was great! After finishing our work sites for the day, we were surprised with knocker balls and a hamster wheel! I’m really sad that this was the last work day but I know that the work we’ve done has made a lasting impact on the homeless and struggling in Victoria.
