 Dear Church family,

As you know this year, we did not have an in-person Angel Breakfast, instead, Angel Breakfast baskets were sent home to each family.  Each basket was filled with a box of pancake mix, a bottle of syrup, oranges, a superstore gift card for them to purchase something to add to it …like BACON or SAUSAGES, a home craft for the children to makeo, and a Christmas card.  A video of the children’s Christmas performance was also included.

The children performed songs, read poetry, and told the Nativity story of the birth of our Jesus on that first Christmas night. As usual they did such a fantastic job. It made all of us daycare staff so proud of them. It is such a blessing and a privilege for us to have the freedom to share with the children and the families about Jesus, especially to share the true meaning of Christmas about our Jesus, such a tiny baby for such a greater purpose.

Although we did Angel Breakfast differently this year and the fellowship hall and sanctuary were not filled with the families and all of you helping to serve, sending out Angel Breakfast gift baskets was a small package but with such a huge impact for our families.  I wish you could have seen the look on the faces of the parents when the baskets were handed out. They were so appreciative and grateful So, thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing financially to CKCD so that we were able to give each of our families a gift basket. Just one small way in which we show all the families that they are valued and loved by Jesus.

Here are just a few of the responses received from the families:

“Thanks again, we all loved the video And all the stuff that came with it!”

“I would like to share how I appreciate the kindness of your team and how G is very happy there. this gift is really amazing. Big thank you”.

“We wanted to tell you and the staff how much we enjoyed the concert! Thank you for all of your hard work, the children were wonderful!”

My prayer for all of you this Christmas season and for the year to come is that you may be filled with peace and overwhelming joy.

Merry Christmas, Joni
