London: “Megacities is an outreach from YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Perth where we focus on 1 city for 1 year, send as many teams there as possible and aim to see the city transformed from the grassroots up. We were both part of the Megacities outreach to Mexico City last year. London is the current project and we have seen major favour and invitation from many prominent people in the city. We’ll be with the first teams on the ground there in the New Year.
Nepal: Nepal is a mountainous country that lies between China and India (the giants), kind of like a big human sandwich. One in three people in the world are Chinese or Indian. For 4 weeks we’ll be starting in Kathmandu Valley, then I (Sven) will take my team trekking to find remove villages and share truth and charity with them. Andrea’s team will be in Kathmandu Valley and will do ministry with different communities. We both love the people of Nepal deeply and want to see lasting change in their lives and to learn from them since they are such an amazing, friendly family orientated society… all you have to do to be invited to have tea with someone in Nepal is to sit on the street with a bit of a lost face on and you’re in!”
