This summer we will be exploring Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:1-12 famously called ‘The Beatitudes.’  These verses have often been read as a ‘guide for Kingdom living,’ and they are no less applicable today than they were two centuries ago.  For this Sunday, the second in our new Summer Sermon Series,  Pastor Jenna, will preach her sermon "Blessed are the Poor in Spirit" from the scripture passage of Matthew 5:1-3.
