Offering for weeks 1 & 2 of July:
Wycliffe Bible Translators mission is to end Bible poverty by facilitating the translation of God’s Word among minority language communities worldwide. They are a member of the Wycliffe Global Alliance, and part of a global movement that’s advancing Bible translation, literacy, capacity-building, and activities that encourage meaningful engagement with translated Scriptures.
Wycliffe partners with local churches, translators and global alliances to ensure that each project is locally led, culturally relevant and sustainable. Their goal is not only to translate Scripture, but to help communities read it, use it and live it—long after the project is complete.
From July 5-18, a team of dedicated riders will take on a big challenge—cycle hundreds of kilometres from White Rock, B.C. to Calgary, Alberta to raise awareness, financial and prayer support for this vital mission. All to share God’s Word in some of the most difficult contexts around the world.
