1) What is our mission?
We seek to be a ministry that leads the congregation by example into the presence of God with truth and love, and in partnership with the Holy Spirit.
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” (John 4:23-34)
2) What is our main responsibility?
To lead the people of God in worship.
3) Who are we as a Ministry?
a. We are an important ministry in the church.
b. We are a place for Spiritual gifts to be employed.
c. We are all leaders and ministers of Christ to the family of God.
d. We bring our best to God and laugh at our imperfections (i.e. it’s not about us).
e. We seek to love Jesus and grow to know him more through worship arts.
4) What are our values?
a. That people involved feel affirmed, empowered, and encouraged in both relationship and giftedness.
b. That truth is in everything we sing, say, pray, preach, and teach.
c. That there is commitment to growing in both gifting (through reflection, learning, and striving to do our best) and relationship (striving to love and be in loving relationship and community with one another.)
d. That there is confident and healthy leadership within our teams.
e. That there is spiritual growth through nurturing faith and trusting the Holy Spirit.
