This event has already occurred
We continue our series on the Shema, the ancient call to worship found in Deuteronomy 6:4 and repeated by Jesus in Mark 12:29: “Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” In this Advent season of waiting and anticipating our great God’s coming to be one with us, we are eager “to come and adore him”. We, along with angels and all creation, are expecting a Saviour and a King.
