A sleepover at the church is one of the highlights of the GEMS year. This year, our sleepover included making crafts and enjoying yummy snacks. We watched the motivational movie “Soul Surfer†with the grade 3-5 girls while the grade 6 girls enjoyed social time - chatting and playing games - and the grade 7 girls occupied the fireside room. The annual sleepover promotes continued fellowship and bonding between girls and counselors. The event ended with a delicious breakfast!
