SUNDAY SONLiFE KIDS PROGRAM (ages 3 - grade 4)
We are now in the EASTER season of the church calendar which ends on May 27, the Day of Pentecost. Our theme for the next six Sundays, including Ascension Day Sunday, center around imagining what it would have been like to ‘walk with Jesus’. We’ll learn more about Jesus’ great power and love – for the people of his day and for us. We’ll be hearing about Jesus’ miracles, his healing power, and we’ll end the six weeks hearing about his love, especially for children.
One of the most meaningful stories in this series tells of Jesus welcoming the children, Mark 10:13 – 16. One of the ways we’ll reinforce the truth of Jesus’ love for kids is by singing the song “Let the Children Come” by Hillsongs Kids. . Another way is that we will memorize the words of Mark 10:14b, 16. Pray for us as we learn and grow closer to Jesus together.
