From now until late November, the church remains in Ordinary Time, the season in which we celebrate Christ's presence in every aspect of our lives and the Spirit's continuing work in the world. It is a season of growth - a time to focus on the call to discipleship.
With a continued focus on the missional role of the church and God's people, Bill Gardner will preach a message titled 'Language in the Bible' based on Hebrews 1:1-2 and several other Scripture passages that speak to the topic.
Bill Gardner is an associate professor at CanIL, the Canada Institude of Linguistics. Besides English, Bill is fairly proficient in (continental) Portuguese and French, and is familiar with Koine Greek, ancient Hebrew and Swahili.
