Due to the persistently high water levels on the Fraser River and a forecast for even higher levels this weekend, we will be camping on the church property instead of at Brae Island.
We'll provide the tents and the food, you bring everything else - Dads are welcome too! The cost is $30 per person (by cheque, please) for all meals and activities.
Drop your kids off on Friday night to help set up camp in the fenced grass area behind the church. We'll have smokies at 6 pm and end the night with a campfire. After a hearty outdoor breakfast on Saturday, we'll play some disc golf, enjoy a BBQ lunch and a swim. After that, we'll enjoy some outdoor games, a big cook-out dinner and s'mores plus an outdoor movie! Sunday morning we'll have breakfast and join in the Willoughby church service. We'll break up camp before and after church on Sunday.
Pick up your kids and their gear at the church on Sunday at noon.
Please bring:
camp chair, a personal mug, bowl, plate and cutlery. You will need to bring a sleeping bag and foam - you will not need a tent as we have many.
Don't forget to bring your swimsuits!
