Children's Ministries
Overview
Willoughby Children's Ministry exists to nurture and encourage children to love, know and serve Jesus. Jesus once said, “Let the children come to me and do not stop them, because the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”(Mark 10:14) Bringing children to Jesus is at the heart of our ministry with children.
Nursery - Ages 0 - 3
Nursery care is an important part of our ministry with children and their parents. We believe that the welcome and care we extend to infants and toddlers is the very first experience most of them will have, outside of their family relationships, with the love of God. It is the start of a lifelong journey of learning about Jesus. Our goal is provide quality care for your young children while you worship. The people who look after the children provide loving and understanding care in our facility prepared specifically for young children. Nursery care is available during our Sunday services and during some special services. Children can be brought to the nursery before or during the service, as space allows.
Children who participate in our SONLiFE children's program are connected with the love of Jesus through worship, Christ-centered Bible storytelling and small group activities. Following a time of worship, the children move into age appropriate small groups for Bible story and learning activities.
Our SONLiFE ministry is offered during our Sunday morning worship service. Sign-in at the welcome table in the main foyer just outside the sanctuary. Children worship with their families in the sanctuary for 10 - 15 mins. and then are invited to SONLiFE.
Both Nursery and SONLiFE take place on the second floor of our building.
